Used for several off-road events including cross-country races and XTERRA events. Lots of switchbacks with occasional rock gardens of intermediate difficulty. When not in the rock gardens, the trail is flowy most of the way. There are views of the lake from several locations. Trailhead access on property. Open daily.

Each year, with the help of a small staff and over 100 dedicated volunteers, Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival attracts thousands of visitors to the nine-day multicultural and intergenerational event. Celebrating its 35th edition in downtown Hot Springs in October 2026, it is the oldest all-documentary festival in North America and one of the longest running nonfiction festivals in the world. The Arkansas Walk of Fame sits in the heart of historic downtown Hot Springs. Each inductee has a plaque set into the concrete sidewalk surrounding the Hot Springs National Park Visitor Center on Central Avenue. Established in 1996, the Arkansas Walk of Fame honors those who were born in or lived in Arkansas, made a significant contribution in their field, and are recognized nationally. Hot Springs Historic Baseball Trail

The Hot Springs Baseball Trail documents the birthplace of spring baseball. Historians place more than 300 players, managers, owners, journalists and others associated with the sport that came to Hot Springs. Originally built in 1915, the Fordyce Bathhouse Visitor Center and Museum offers a glimpse of the splendor of the American Spa during its heyday. Open at 10 a.m. on weekends April-May, 9 a.m. daily in the summer (Memorial Day-third weekend in August), and 10 a.m. on weekends for remainder of August-November. The grand architecture of the historic bathhouses is equally matched by the natural curiosities that have been drawing people here for hundreds of years. Ancient thermal springs, mountain views, incredible geology, and abundant creeks, all in the middle of town, make Hot Springs National Park a unique and beautiful destination. Visitors can tour the park's Visitor Center located within the historic Fordyce Bathhouse, view the other seven historic bathhouses while strolling the Grand Promenade, hike along some of the park's 26 miles of trails, drive scenic mountain roads, picnic by Gulpha Creek, take a thermal water bath, camp at Gulpha Gorge Campground and much more.
